One of my favorites. It’s true that the package calls for more water than it needs, but once you know that then it’s easy to add a little less. As a vegetarian, this is one of my go-to meals for guaranteed deliciousness. And healthy (all things considered).

Tastes pretty good for camping food. A little salty, but I suspect that is on purpose to replace salts lost while sweating. Definitely put a little less water than they call for, but don’t under do it, they come out a little dry. Sorry I don’t have measurements. I think I under shot their amount by 40 ML ish..

Great for small groups too !!)

I wanted to mention that if you plan to use all the contents, but use it over a few days, you might try making portions to suit your needs using a vacuum sealer food bag. This would allow you to keep the contents fresher for a 2 person or 4 person trip over 1 or 2 weeks or even a month. Keep in mind that some moisture was introduced when you unpacked it.

Delicious and Healthy Meat-Free Option

As a lover of curry and Southeast Asian food, I was thrilled to see this healthy vegetarian option. I personally found it to be mildly spiced and not too salty. I love it so much that I will be using it for lunch at work and light meals/snacks in the cold weather as well as starting an Amazon subscription so I can get it every month!

Huge package that will last you a long time. Is a great value and with a dollop of sour cream, and some cheese (or nutritional yeast, if you’re vegan) this stuff is pretty tasty.

Hit the spot when we summited…

Well, we had been going for seven hours, steep ascent hiking with the occasional spot of (recreational) bouldering, and we reached the summit by 13h. Thankfully there were some clouds overhead and we cooked up some of this, had a strategy meeting, and had a glorious Nepalese haze settle around us as we ate this great food.
