Great for backpacking

Used them for backpacking, and they were great. The directions say to boil them for quite a while, but theyt worked just fine for me by adding boiling water and letting them sit. I mixed them in with Minute rice and dehydrated beans and they had a really good flavor. Excited to try some more recipes with them.
Great to have on hand for when you are out of fresh.
Good to have on hand

I often run out of or forget to buy peppers, or I buy too many and they go bad in the fridge. These are good to keep around to put in soups or spaghetti sauce when fresh isn’t around. As with dried oinions, also would be useful to pack some in a sandwich bag if you’re cooking while camping.
Tasty and flexible

Got these in my ongoing efforts to make sure that it’s easy to get fruits and vegetables in my diet – after the first weekend, I’d used almost half the jar, and ordered more. The taste is mostly sweet, as you’d expect from bell peppers, but with just enough kick to be noticible. I actually enjoy reaching for them to munch on straight out of the jar – mostly crunchy, but just a little chewy, too. I also have been adding them to sausage, eggs, hash browns – great way to increase flavor without salt. 1 cup is about 50 calories, so guilt-free snacking, too.

I don’t get to the store often so this is a wonderful thing to have around for extra vegetables. Just toss them into any dish for wonderful flavor. I use them all the time. I love them and will continue to purchase them… Thanks guys… Cathi
must have for my kitchen

Absolutely love this product!!! Great addition to soups, stews and even great in omelets (just need to soak in hot water for a min before using for the omletes). I have a hard time finding non gmo veggies in my area and finding ones that do not look like they have been in a warehouse for months. Finding these was a God send. Now I can add bell peppers whenever I want without the waste of not using a whole pepper for some recipes. Highly recommend these to anyone wants an easy way to add peppers to their cooking.
Colorful Bits of Flavor!

I was a little worried to buy this product because a few reviews mentioned stem pieces in the container. We have not found this to be the case at all. My husband bought this for his back packing trip and was very happy with this purchase.
Great To Add to Meatballs!

I have used these a couple times since I purchased and really like that I can have bell peppers to add to meatloaf, meatballs or to soup without having to stock fresh ones, which can spoil if not used quickly enough. Just add some to ground meat with bread crumbs and spices, along with some dried onions, and you have the best meatballs ever! Then you can add your meatballs to soup, spaghetti, stew or freeze them for adding to meals later.
A Perfect Pepper Pick

I originally bought these to put into emergency food storage but now I keep them on hand also. Great for adding to canned soup, or into the frypan of any meat dish (especially when making cheesesteaks). Saves time and the waste of continuously buying fresh peppers and not using them all and throwing some out. With these, I only use what I need. They taste good too.
