Tasty, not too sweet, cruncy but not hard

This is one of my favorite purchases in Amazon Pantry. These banana chips are tasty, not too sweet, crunchy but not hard like dried bananas. There is a bit of “banana powder” at the bottom of the jar, but I found a good way to use this “dust” by adding a little bit of it to my morning cereal. I will be buying it again when I am done with jar.

Very good flavor

I love freeze-dried banana slices. They are so nice and crunchy eaten straight from the jar. The flavor is amazing. I highly recommend keeping some freeze-dried banana slices in your food pantry to enjoy any time you are craving bananas. Mother Earth is a good brand. A fresh banana has about sixteen slices. So when I don’t have any fresh bananas to eat, I just eat sixteen slices of these freeze-dried bananas and can still get my potassium from them. It’s a great way to have sliced fruits on hand that don’t spoil on you before you can eat them.

Good in hot cereal.

These bananas need hot water to soften. All my teeth are out and I can only eat soft food for the time being. Cold water takes too long for me to wait. These are good because I don’t use bananas that often.

A jar full of healthy goodness

I love Mother Earth products, and the bananas are one of my favorites! I am disabled and get out of the house only about once a month to get groceries, so these are really great to have on hand when the fresh fruits run out. But unlike some of the freeze dried products, the bananas can be eaten right out of the jar. Plus they are are really good!

Love these

I love these they are crunchy but not hard like banana chips. Also they taste more like a fresh banana! I would have given them 5 stars if there was less banana dustings in the container there was a 1/2 cup the dust.

OMG! OMG!!!

I bought these after reading the reviews above just to give them a try, as I am quite tired of buying fresh bananas only to have them go to waste faster than I can use them. (Thank you ALL SO MUCH for convincing me to make a sea change in my eating habits!), So, I popped one small piece into my mouth after dinner and then another and another and on and on. I had to FORCE myself to stop. I have found a new LOVE! Calling these “incredible” is like calling the Taj Mahal a pretty little shack – – MASSIVE UNDERSTATEMENT. FOR YEARS I have shunned those pasty-looking hard, crunchy dried bananas that smelled like rotted fruit to me. These are NOTHING like those traditional nasty’s. THESE FREEZE-DRIED Bananas by Mother Earth ARE BEYOND FABULOUS! I think I will begin giving these as gifts. They are REALLY YUMMY!!!!!

Yummy, crunchy, sweet, flavorful

The product is excellent, if you like the freeze-dried texture, which I do. They are crunchier and more flavorful than Trader Joe’s. These are great to take on hikes, and bonus, they’re good for dog hiking companions!

I’m going to order more.

I had been buying my daughter packages of freeze dried bananas from the grocery at $4/bag, and they were small bags. Then the grocery stopped selling them. I’ve been looking for some since. These from Mother Earth had good reviews, so I was willing to give them a try. My reasoning was that these should last my little girl at least a week or longer since the quantity was much more than the bags she had before. Wrong. Once the delivery came, she opened the jar of bananas, offered some to her brother and a neighbor so they could experience them, and then decoured the entire jar in one night. Yes, you read that right. My little girl ate the entire jar in one evening. When she brought it to the kitchen trash can, I assumed they had spilled somewhere, but she explained they were simply the best she had ever had. I still think they cost too much or else they’d get 5 stars. So 5 star taste, 3 star price.
