Chunks are a Little Small, but Taste Great

They must have changed the lid since mine was a basic lefty-loosy righty-tighty version. In any event, this is very tasty freeze dried pineapple at a decent price, but not as good as you would find in buying #10 cans which can be found for around $35 or $40 and contain about 5 times more in my experience. Since measurements on freeze dried items are always a little dicey, I will point out that the container is about 4 1/2 inches high by 3 1/2 wide and deep. Most of the chunks are a little bigger than a pea, with some larger and some smaller. Quality and consistency are good.

Nice big pieces predominate, convenient for me, since I just eat them as a snack. The taste, while good, has occasional “cooked” overtones that I haven’t noted in more expensive brands. It’s not noticeable enough to go to 4 stars on the rating, but you’ll taste it if you are a partisan of F-D pineapple.

I am happy Amazon has them available for quicker delivery

I ordered the variety sample pack from the Mother Earth Products main page and the pineapples were definitely in the top 3 favorites of the 17 items that came. I am happy Amazon has them available for quicker delivery, I look forward to eating far too many of these.

These are a staple in our home. These are good alone or with the freeze-dried mangos from the same company. Kinda like a crunchy fruit salad.

Of all the dehydrated or freeze dried fruits I’ve tried, this pineapple is the only one I liked at all . . . I threw a couple of tablespoons into my cooking oatmeal as long as it lasted, and it was delicious!
